Howard Roark

There are no two ways about it: Roark is our main man. We know it from the moment we see him: we get our first of glimpse of Roark when he's skinny-dipping. That's a little handy foreshadowing to the sheer amount of information we proceed to get on Roark… nothing about Roark is concealed from us.

Besides being our protagonist, he's also our freakin' hero. R-man can do no wrong within the world of The Fountainhead, even if he has to do battle for his success.
