• Piper is born to Tristan McClean and Aphrodite. Aphrodite leaves soon after her birth.
• Tristan McClean is a major movie star with little time for Piper. Piper takes to stealing to get his attention (because she is Aphrodite's daughter, she can talk people into giving her whatever she wants).
• Piper talks a salesperson into giving her a BMW. In exasperation, her father sends her to the Wilderness School for troubled kids.
• Piper starts a relationship with Jason Grace at Wilderness School. She also befriends Leo Valdez.
• Piper starts having dreams in which the giant Enceladus has kidnapped her father.
• Jason wakes up on a bus trip to the Grand Canyon with amnesia. Eventually, Piper realizes her relationship with him was an illusion.
• Piper, Leo, and Jason are attacked by storm spirits, but then they are rescued by demigods from Camp Half-Blood, who take them back to their camp.
• Piper finds out that her father is really missing, and she is claimed by Aphrodite as her daughter.
• Piper, Leo, and Jason go on a quest to rescue the goddess Hera and prevent the evil goddess Gaea from waking.
• Piper is worried that she will have to betray her friends in order to save her father.
• After many adventures, Piper tells Leo and Jason about her father's plight.
• The heroes save Piper's dad, whose mind is shattered. Piper gives him a potion from her mother to erase his memory.
• The heroes defeat Gaea (for now) and save Hera. Piper is getting greater and greater control of her charmspeaking ability.
• Back at Camp Half-Blood, Piper challenges the dictatorial Drew for the head counselor position at Aphrodite cabin. Drew steps down and Piper becomes head counselor.
• Piper and Jason move closer to being boyfriend and girlfriend, though they don't quite kiss.
