Socrates Timeline and Summary

Socrates hangs out in Piraeus with Glaucon to see a religious festival.
On their way home, Socrates and Glaucon are stopped by a bunch of friends who want them to stay and see more of the festival, plus have a nice, long chat.
After some arm-twisting, Socrates and Glaucon agree and head over to Polemarchus's house.
At Polemarchus's house, Socrates chats with Polemarchus's father about old age and justice until Polemarchus takes over and debates some more.
Soon another guest, Thrasymachus, jumps in and argues with Socrates.
Then Adeimantus and Glaucon join in. They all begin to imagine an ideal city.
After discussing such things for a long time, Socrates tells everyone a story called the Myth of Er.
Rather abruptly, the dialogue ends.
