Gyaar Ryuu Timeline and Summary

We only get glimpses of Gyaar in Cam's flashbacks in the beginning. One time, Cam comes face to face with Gyaar, but doesn't kill him. Gyaar doesn't know why at the time, but he certainly takes note of this kind act.
Then we get some more flashbacks, but this time from Gyaar's perspective. He tells us that he thought Cam looked like his older brother when he first saw the guy, and than when he finally had the chance to kill Cam, he didn't because he felt he owed the guy for sparing his life earlier.
Earlier in the war, Gyaar's brother Gyodan died, making Gyaar his dad's heir. He's sad about his bro passing, and he's having a tough time adjusting to his new role as the next big ruler—Gyaar just doesn't have the ruthless spirit his dad does.
Back in the present, Gyaar's dad pressures him into making a decision about the Downlander (a.k.a. Cam). Everyone has noticed that he goes to the castle to spy on Gyaar and his family, so eventually Gyaar brings him in to ask him a couple questions.
Gyaar and Cam bond over their shared memories of the war. They realize that even though they are from opposite sides, they are really not all that different. Gyaar gives Cam a job as his advisor, and even gives Diido a singing gig in the palace too.
When Gyaar's parents start pressuring him to get hitched and have kids, he goes for Graceful in a political move to restore peace between Uplanders and Downlanders.
