Jerry

Jerry teaches Peter about the absurdity of life, and sends him away a stronger, better man—"you're not really a vegetable, it's all right, you're an animal too" (278). Jerry is just like Yoda, if Yoda nattered on about going to the zoo and fought over park benches and ran himself onto Luke's lightsaber.

Okay, the truth is that there's not really much of a mentor role in this play. There are only two characters; give us a break.
