Garvey

Cole doesn't have a lot of support from his parents at the beginning of the book (although his mom does become more involved in his life later), so the only positive adult influence that he really has in his life is his parole officer, Garvey. Even though Cole continually lashes out at Garvey, the parole officer never gives up on him, even going out of his way to help Cole become a better person. He gets Cole set up with the Circle Justice program and reminds him that he has to stop blaming everyone else for his problems and take responsibility for what he's done.
