The Past

Kind of dramatic, we know. But even though Jason is a total jerk, we hesitate to call him out as the antagonist. After all, it's not Jason who prevents Macy from moving on—it's Macy herself. Namely, her past. Once she's able to conquer the past and move on with her life, her conflicts don't seem quite as in the way.
