We Are Seven

(2) Sea Level

Don't let the occasional word like "porringer" or "ye" getcha down. "We Are Seven" is actually a pretty easy read. Wordsworth was all about being a man of the people, so he purposely wrote his poems in accessible and clear language. (And we appreciate him for doing so—so should you. Ever read a poem by Wordsworth's predecessor Alexander Pope)? Those poems are off-the-charts difficult.)
