Arthur Kipps

Arthur Kipps may not be so successful in vanquishing an evil ghost, but he's still the hero of The Woman in Black. We follow him and root for him as he peeks around corners, jumps at odd noises, and discovers the sad truth behind Jennet Humfrye's haunting. Arthur perseveres bravely, even when we kind of want to yell at him to go home already. In the end, he has all the folly of a young, reckless hero, but lives to tell the tale.

Unfortunately, Stella and Joseph don't.
