Exactly how steamy is this story?

Even though Arthur Kipps has two wives in The Woman in Black (not concurrently, this isn't a book about polygamy), there's a straight-laced, 19th century, British quality to all the characters in the book that makes sex a nonissue. When he thinks of Stella or Esmé, he thinks of them as lovely women who have made him a better man, but he definitely doesn't entertain any sexy thoughts—at least none that he'd reveal to the reader.
As far as we're concerned, the most scandalous character in the book is Jennet Humfrye, the woman in black, because she managed to have a child out of wedlock. But that didn't end up too great for her, so there really is zero sexiness in the whole book.
