Character Role Analysis

Victor Frankenstein

At the beginning, Frederick Frankenstein is trying so hard to distance himself from his family that he pronounces his last name differently and freaks out at any mention of his grandfather's reanimation experiments. But after inheriting the family castle and finding his grandfather's personal journals and laboratory, he starts to believe that he can follow in the old man's footsteps. Following his grandfather's writings to a tee (well, except for the abnormal brain part), he succeeds in an experiment he never thought possible. Turns out he is a Frankenstein after all, guided by Victor from the grave.
