On this day in 1787, the Constitutional Convention kicked off in Philadelphia. It was exactly like San Diego Comic-Con, except instead of cosplayers and booth babes, you had James Madison and Benjamin Franklin; and instead of snagging illustrators' autographs and sitting in on anime panels, the convention-goers created the United States Constitution.
