nov 09 Learn More Stieg Larsson Dies


Swedish writer Stieg Larsson died on this day in 2004, which means The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo author didn't actually see his Millennium Trilogy hit the big time. And boy, did it ever. The series, featuring antisocial heroine Lisbeth Salander, has sold more than 80 million copies worldwide. Larsson originally intended for the series to include ten books. So far only three have been published, but an unfinished fourth novel definitely exists on Larsson's old laptop, and sketches for fifth and sixth books are reportedly out there…somewhere.
