Dale Earnhardt, Jr., was born on this day in 1974. He's a third generation NASCAR driver. His dad, Dale Earnhardt, Sr., was a NASCAR Hall of Famer, and his grandfather, Ralph Earnhardt, also raced stock cars professionally. He's no relation to the Detroit indie pop band Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr., but he is a fan of their music.
