Stress
Nobody who hates sports gets into broadcasting sports. These guys and gals are fans and they have favorite teams. So they're prone to the same kind of sports hysteria most other fans are. Go listen to Michaels' famous "Do you believe in miracles" line. Just judging by the inflection in his voice, it's a safe bet he was at least a little excited.
Regardless, they feel game day stress like other fans, and they also deal with contract issues, network demands, travel, and, for the guys not making the big bucks with national networks, possibly money troubles.
