Amélie Scene 24 Summary

  • Back at the Two Windmills, Georgette and Joseph are scratching tickets again.
  • Joseph tells Georgette that she's gorgeous when she blushes, and she says, "It's my dyspepsia." How romantic.
  • Joseph goes to the bathroom, and Amélie purposefully spills a cup of tea on Georgette, which sends her to washroom to wash off.
  • Georgette bumps into the Joseph, who starts making out with her, and, well, eventually the whole café begins to shake, the liquor in the bottles ripples like a T-Rex is coming, the lights flicker, and Amélie releases the steam on the espresso machine to hide the sounds of Georgette's squealing.
