How It All Goes Down
- Genet helps a group of guerrillas hijack a plane, and the government believes that Marion is somehow connected. He must leave the country.
- Shiva gives Marion a going-away present: Thomas Stone's book with a bookmark inside that has a note from Sister Mary Joseph Praise. Hema gives him the copy of the print of St. Teresa with a note saying Ghosh had it framed and wanted him to have it.
- Marion escapes from Ethiopia with the help of the Eritrean People's Liberation Front, the same guys who are behind the hijacking. He has to walk out, carrying only what he can.
- At a bunker, Marion helps treat some wounded fighters.
- Marion makes it to Nairobi and decides he wants out of Africa altogether.
