- Krissi sleeps on Libby's couch after Libby feeds her a delicious dinner—that classic Southern delicacy, the Velveeta Sandwich. Maybe Krissi just pretends to be sleeping so she doesn't have to eat it?
- When Libby wakes up, Krissi is gone, girl.
- Libby decides to pay Runner a visit in person, so she drives to Bert Nolan's home for sad sack loser men (not its official name) in Oklahoma. Ooooooklahoma, where the deadbeat dads amble 'round the plains.
- Runner isn't there, but Bert Nolan tells Libby he was last seen at a bar.
- Libby goes asking for him, and someone Runner owes money says he's squatting at the old Superfund site, which is soaked with arsenic "and shitheads" (22.59). We're not sure which is worse.
