- The Supreme Court, District Courts, Probate Courts, and Justices of the Peace in the Territory of Kansas will all be set up exactly like those in the Nebraska Territory and will be subject to the same rules and regulations, even that bit about clerks being paid the same as they are in Utah Territory.
- The Fugitive Slave Acts of 1793 and 1850? Yeah, those have to be obeyed in Kansas Territory too.
- Kansas Territory will have an attorney and marshal just like Nebraska, and just like Nebraska, the marshal gets an extra $200 per year for "extra services" (29.2).
