The Death Cure Chapter Forty-One Summary

How It All Goes Down

  • Back on the Berg, everyone's in a pretty bad mood. Who can blame 'em?
  • Thomas figures there's only one place to go now, and that's Gally's. Then it dawns on him; he should read Newt's note.
  • The note reads: "Kill me. If you've ever been my friend, kill me" (41.32).
  • Hmm, so not only is that depressing, but Thomas realizes he failed Newt. That's why Newt was so angry that Thomas showed up at the bowling alley.
