Stress

Sure, there's some stress to this gig. Four years of graduate work, plus the worry of starting your own practice or joining an established clinic, plus malpractice concerns, plus the occasional whiff of scorn from the medical community at large about your "questionable" practices.

And once you're in the territory where a person's health coverage only might cover their visit, well, you'll find out pretty quickly how stressful it can be to work with insurance companies.

Otherwise, relax—all that tension is bad for your back, anyway.
