Do you even need to ask? These people build airplanes and rockets. Nothing is cooler than that. With low unemployment rates, high median salaries, and a very high job satisfaction rate, chances are that life as aerospace engineer will treat you pretty well.
You may not have the most expensive house in town, but you're also not struggling to buy your family a nice car or that vacation to Hawaii, and you'll be able to pay off your student loans in a snap. Plus, working for large companies often means great benefits, and that's something you'll care about. Eventually.
And that job satisfaction. Phew. Eighty percent is highly impressive considering the college grad median of fifty-four percent. This can probably be attributed to the good salary, job stability, and the fact that you could launch a satellite to spy on the Russians—er, to design a new "global weather-surveying drone."
