The theme for this year's contest is "American History: Our Hope for the Future." If you can put together a stirring essay addressing that topic that can be read in 3 to 5 minutes, you could win. In this scholarship competition, your grades, disciplinary record, SAT scores...none of them count for squat. The ONLY thing that matters is whether you can compose an award-worthy essay and record it on a CD or flash drive in your own voice. Judging is based on originality, content, and delivery.
