Reading RF.K.3.C

Read common high-frequency words by sight (e.g., the, of, to, you, she, my, is, are, do, does).

Knowing letter sounds is critical for sounding (duh) or spelling words out. Like when you want to take the dog on a w-a-l-k.

But some words should be quick to roll off the tongue, even for kindergartners. Get them into sight word boot camp, and make sure the common articles, pronouns, and verbs listed above are easy-peasy.
