When you move to a new address, you are required to provide the DMV with that new address within 10 days. Uh-oh. They know where you live...

There is no fee associated with the change, and it can be done quickly and easily at  www.dmv.ca.gov. You could also download the form and mail it in, or call to request a copy, but obviously you have access to a computer, so let’s just keep things simple, yeah?

You will not be issued a new driver’s license showing your new address, but you should write it into the space provided on the back of your existing license, assuming you haven’t already doodled a bunch of smiley faces there.
