Every year, the National Collegiate Equestrian Association (which basically does all the nitty-gritty everyday stuff for the NCAA) hosts a national championship. The top twelve teams in Western and hunter combined compete throughout the season, and the winner gets a very shiny trophy (source).
That's about it, though.
