Unless you're a member of the U.S. Women's National Soccer team or an Olympic figure skater, odds are you won't be spending a lot of time in the limelight as a female athlete (source). Sigh.
That said, women's college basketball gets a fair amount of attention during the season. Especially at schools with established, successful programs.
Skilled enough to play Division I? Every team has a shot to play in the Women's NCAA March Madness Basketball Tournament. They just need the best players.
Nudge, nudge. Wink, wink.
Getting to that point means you're on one of the top sixty-four teams in the country. Then you can unleash your inner prodigy and lead your team to six straight tournament wins and NCAA glory.
