Zahra Hakem

Zahra is the only person who can get an emotional response from Alan. While he thinks of himself as dead on the inside and disconnected from other human beings, Zahra's extraordinariness drags him back to life.

His attraction to her is not enough to, um, rev his engines…but what he feels for her gives us a sign that it ain't over till it's over for our protagonist.
