You know, Giorgio, I'm glad that your work speaks to so many people and seems to apply in so many situations, but I still think you need to complicate your thinking about the "state of exception" so that it can accommodate the realities of economic and political difference that characterize today's world.
I hear you, Judith, but I think you're mistaking me for someone I'm not. I'm a philosopher, not a historian or sociologist or economist. I traffic in concepts and theoretical paradigms, not in facts.
