Moose Flanagan

The story centers around Moose and his experiences moving to a new home and getting along (or not) with his family and friends. He's also our narrator—which kind of helps make him the central character. Although much of the drama in the book actually swirls around Natalie, Moose is still the guy we care about most while reading. His mom might ignore him, and he might have a hard time fitting in with the other kids, but he's center stage for us through and through.
