- Why are tensions high between the different races in Eudora? What reasons might we give aside from racism? How do you explain some people's willingness to help people of the Quarter and other people's inhumane treatment of them?
- Why might Alex Cross want to tell this story? How does the story involve him? How would it change if it weren't written with him as the "author"?
