Theodore Finch

Though Finch endures physical abuse at the hands of his father and Roamer, he's his own worst antagonist, as he freely admits. "It's time I fear," he says. "And me. I'm afraid of me" (29.30-29.32).

He feels controlled by his bipolar disorder, even though he tries to fight its symptoms. Eventually, it kills him.
