How It All Goes Down
- Caleb tells Tobias what Tris wanted him to say if she didn't make it: "That she didn't want to leave you" (55.15).
- Tobias is mad that Tris didn't just let Caleb's sorry butt die in her place.
- Caleb's kind of asking himself the same thing.
- As if Tobias's day couldn't get any worse, it's time to pull the plug on Uriah.
- David, of all people, is there, and Tobias flies into a rage, even though David is too brainwashed to remember that his policies caused all this death in the first place.
- Evelyn stops Tobias from attacking David.
- David won't be punished, because Tris is viewed as a rebel, and David was just trying to stop her.
- Tobias doesn't have time to let this sink in. He has to let Uriah go. Man, this is dark.
