- On Friday, Gypsy is over at her grandparents' place watching TV when she points out an actor and remarks that he's good-looking. Woodrow says that anyone can be good-looking if you have enough money, and there are operations to fix your face.
- Then someone knocks and Uncle Everett comes in. Woodrow seems pretty thrilled to see his father.
- They make awkward small talk for a while and Gypsy realizes that Uncle Everett probably feels self-conscious around them, like he's not worldly enough.
- After that, Uncle Everett leaves and Woodrow looks outside to see a blonde woman in his father's car. Gypsy can tell it's upsetting to him, but neither of them says anything.
