Exactly how steamy is this story?
G
Packed with grief and angst and boy pranks, Bullyville is pretty much the opposite of steamy. The closest the book comes to talking about romance is a sort-of crush that Bart once had in middle school: "When I was in the seventh grade I'd had what I guess you could call a crush on a girl named Anna Simonson," he tells us. "I'd find myself thinking about her when I didn't think I was thinking about anything at all. I'd wonder if she was thinking about me." (5.5) Now Bart doesn't have time for a crush, though, since his thoughts are totally occupied by his nemesis, Tyro.
