Mrs. Grimes

Mrs. Grimes is no superhero, but she's just about the only character in "Death in the Woods" who we can sympathize with. Her husband and son are cruel and abusive. The German farmer is a total sleazeball. Even the men from town don't seem like great fellows. Although we don't learn much about her inner life, the struggles she endures are enough to earn her our sympathy.
