Mrs. Price

The antagonist is the character in conflict with the protagonist, and in "Eleven," that character is totally Mrs. Price. This teacher wants to get rid of the red sweater, and because she is in a position of authority, she won't listen to anything Rachel has to say. She even misremembers Rachel having worn the sweater once, which we learn is entirely not true.

In the end, Mrs. Price learns the sweater is not Rachel's, but in one final blow between the two, Mrs. Price "pretends like everything's okay" (20).
