Cole and Jack

Is anyone else getting a bit of an Edward versus Jacob vibe here? Cole is a dangerous sexy immortal who is bad news for Nikki, and Jack is her childhood friend-turned-love-interest who is reliable and safe. Cole oozes bad boy vibes (he's an actual rock star, which helps) while Jack has hometown hottie written all over him (being the high school quarterback helps). If you're not getting the contrast between these dudes, you're not paying attention.
