Henry Clinton

Henry is the Gale to Jean Louise's Katniss. The Jacob to her Bella. The Rhett to her Scarlett. And if these three literary figures (four, including Henry) have anything in common, it's this: it's not meant to be.

Jean Louise doesn't have an Edward or a Peeta or a plantation that will keep her from never going hungry again, but whomever she may (or may not) end up picking in the future, it won't be our Henry. He's the prototypical nice guy, the one who lets her walk all over him… and will continue to do so until she finally walks away.
