One of the reasons why Danny and Sandy are blinded by love is their hormones. Unable to control their emotions—and their libidos—pretty much everyone in this movie makes bad decisions: Danny ditches Sandy, Danny gropes Sandy, Sandy pines for Danny, Kenickie challenges Leo to a drag race.
