Case File: Helios vs. Odysseus's Men

Case File: Helios vs. Odysseus's Men

Police Reports

Case Description: Complainant (Helios) accuses Defendants (Odysseus's Men) of cattle rustling. Despite his warnings, Odysseus's men killed the sacred cattle of Helios and ate them.

Case Status: Case closed. Helios begged Zeus to punish Odysseus's men for their crime, so the King of the gods obliterated them all with a thunderbolt, leaving only Odysseus alive. (Sounds like those steaks just weren't worth it.)
