Mrs. Mehta

Hari's mom is the antagonist for many reasons. First of all, she definitely has the evil stepmother thing down. She's bossy, controlling, and always right—and nothing is ever good enough for her. But easy as it is to hate Mrs. Mehta for how she treats our main gal, she isn't just the antagonist because she's mean. She's also the character who's always in opposition to Koly—whether it be demanding more work from her or mocking her abilities, Mrs. Mehta goes out of her way to put up roadblocks for Koly.
