Really, the only thing getting in the way of Daisy's delightful countryside utopian life is that darn war. Up until it decides to take over Daisy's home, separate her from her loved ones, force her to witness unspeakable tragedy, and test her courage and will to live, things are pretty much fine and dandy. So thanks a lot World War III and whoever the Enemy is that England fights.
