At the start of her journey, she's any American teenager—too cool for school, slightly jaded, but really just looking for a place in the world she can feel loved and at home. We follow her adventures across the pond, over the river, through the woods, and back again. She's an ordinary girl who makes the best of her extraordinary circumstances, discovering her own strength along the way.
