Protagonist
Character Role Analysis
Nora Grey
Nora is our narrator and main character. We're with her as she morphs from a cello-playing, getting-into-college-focused, boy-ambivalent high school sophomore to a Nephil-killing, fallen-angel-kissing, harlequin-romance-style heroine. Nora has a lot to deal with throughout the novel including the impact of her father's death a year ago, fending off freaky attacks from some mystery stalker in a ski mask, grappling with confusing feelings about Patch, and finding out that she has Nephilim blood pumping through her veins.
We get a first-hand view of all the drama as the story unfolds through Nora's perspective, crossing our fingers she makes it to the end of the book before the ski mask gets us.
