Day and June

In a book that's split equally between two different perspectives, it's pretty darn difficult to choose one protagonist. Both Day and June act as the protagonist in Legend—they have separate storylines that are given just as much airtime, and then their stories intersect so that in the end Day and June are fighting for the same cause. They're trying to expose the evilness of the government and fight against a power that's hurt both of their families.
