Amy Cahill Timeline & Summary

Amy rides with her brother, Dan, and her Great Aunt Beatrice to her grandmother Grace's funeral.
At Grace's will reading, Amy is given a choice: a million-dollar inheritance, or the first clue in a worldwide scavenger hunt. She takes the clue.
She hauls her brother to Grace's library for research, where they find another clue, get blackmailed by their uncle Alistair, and almost die when the mansion burns down and collapses.
The clue leads them to Philadelphia in the footsteps of Benjamin Franklin. With the help of their au pair, Nellie, Amy and Dan travel there on Ben Franklin's trail.
After a few more clues, adventures, and explosions, Amy and Dan travel to Paris, France.
A series of adventures eventually leads Amy, Dan, and Nellie deep into the Catacombs of Paris, also known as the Maze of Bones.
At the end of the trail, they find a mysterious vial of liquid and a clue.
Chased by Ian and Natalie Kabra, Amy scales a church, climbing all the way to the top. When the lightning rod on the roof is struck by lightning, the mysterious vial of liquid begins to glow.
Before she can figure out what it's for, Amy gives the vial to Ian Kabra because he tells Amy that Dan is poisoned. He'll give her the antidote in exchange for the vial.
It was a bluff, but Amy doesn't know that until after the trade.
Even without the vial, she's already figured out the next clue. They're off to Vienna.
