Rafe Khatchadorian / Jeanne Galletta

Rafe is an average-looking, unpopular kid with no friends and bad grades who likes drawing and breaking rules in his spare time.

Jeanne Galletta is a pretty, popular girl with stellar grades who loves running for student council and raising money for charity in her spare time.

So, how do these two total opposites wind up friends? Rafe and Jeanne might clash over their different values (he's too careless and she's overly obedient), but by the end of the story, they both learn to meet in the middle just a little bit. Rafe figures out that caring about school's not so bad and Jeanne realizes that Rafe's right—some rules are meant to be broken.
