  • Back to the narrator, who is visiting the house he lived in as a boy—it has now been turned into a printer's shop.
  • He meets the ghost of his father, Warwick, who identifies himself to the narrator; they speak about their past life together.

  • The narrator and Warwick walk out into the street together, observing houses and churches and listening to the bells ringing.
  • No one can see the ghost moving through the town. It's kind of how ghosts roll.
