- In his cave, eight days before the hanging, Jimmi thinks about the afterlife. He doesn't believe there's anything waiting for us when we die, but he does feel like Joe is watching him somehow.
- He goes to buy drugs, but then remembers he's broke, so instead he decides to wait for the dealer to leave and then raid the stash.
- The only problem? There is no stash tonight. But there is a gun behind a bag of sugar.
- He takes the gun and thinks about how he has no one to talk to anymore.
- Jimmi starts walking along the train tracks, with the gun in hand; he sings "Amazing Grace" while he walks, thinking about the gun.
